Following the INQUA meeting in South Africa in August 1999, the European Pollen Monitoring Programme is now a global programme. The third meeting of the PMP will be held in Cardiff 12-17th April 2000, at which analyses of spatial and temporal variations in pollen deposition for the years 1996-1999 will be demonstrated using the PMP data base. The PMP would like to extend the network of pollen monitoring stations and welcomes new participants. Details of the standardized procedure are available on the PMP home page.
